Kairos

The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.

St. Alban’s has had a strong history of support for Kairos in the greater Columbia area.  As volunteers on the teams that go into the prisons, as providers of hundreds of dozens of cookies to take into the prisons, and as strong supporters of prayers for the prisoners and their families, the prison staff members, and the teams of volunteers that visit the prisons, our church has helped spread the love of God as Jesus said in Matthew 25: 35-40.

If YOU want to experience that wonderful feeling of God’s presence, if YOU want to see the impact that unselfish and unconditional love can have, YOU need to participate in Kairos.
