Daughters of the King

The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to  a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism.  As Daughters, we have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives.  We are an Order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches of the Historic Episcopate.

If any woman of St Alban’s wishes to become a member of The Order, they must complete a twelve week discernment process where they learn about The Order; including the Rule of Life, Rule of Prayer, and the Rule of Service. The St. Alban’s chapter of The Order of the Daughters of the King recently admitted six new members.  The Service of Admission, led by Archdeacon Janey Wilson, was held October 8, 2023.

Interested women of St. Alban’s may contact Pat Harder, or any member of the Daughters of the King for more information.

The Mission of The Order is the extension of Christ’s Kingdom through Prayer, Service and Evangelism.

The Order of the Daughters of the King- Confidential Prayers

If there is someone, something, or a prayer of celebration that you would like us to pray for, please tell us. Prayer requests are found on the table outside the sanctuary. Please put all prayer requests in the blue DOK box.  All requests are strictly confidential as members of The Order lift them to God in prayer.
